Differential Diagnosis

Your PNH differential diagnosis should include both flow cytometry and LDH

  • Appropriate clinical assessment of the patient along with lab results — flow cytometry and LDH to determine the degree of hemolysis — provides a more complete diagnostic picture
  • PNH is a heterogeneous disease that presents uniquely in each patient. No one sign or symptom provides a diagnosis of PNH
  • A complete patient assessment, including a thorough review of systems, is essential to identify the presence or absence of symptoms and establish the burden of disease for an individual patient
