Blood Tests
Other tests to aid in PNH diagnosis and management
Blood tests to check for:
- Decreased RBC count, decreased HCT, decreased Hgb
- Increased reticulocytes
- Increased bilirubin (indirect)
- Decreased haptoglobin
- Increased AST
Bone marrow aspirate/biopsy to detect:
- Abnormal morphology/cytogenetics
