Pulmonary Hypertension
Dyspnea May Be a Common Indicator of Pulmonary Hypertension (PHT)1
Nearly 50% of Patients With PNH Have Evidence of PHT1
- The majority of patients, 66%, reported dyspnea
- 72% of patients qualified dyspnea as moderate to severe2
- 88% reported distress due to dyspnea2
- Degree of dyspnea may be independent of hemoglobin level1
- PHT can be linked to hemolysis and resulting nitric oxide (NO) depletion3
